Although all of our tours include several layers of activity that strike a balance between planned excursions and free time for our clients, the following tour categories lend themselves to specific interests around which we will plan the tour itinerary. Blended Activity Tours
We specialize in organizing tours with blended experiences that showcase the richness of Mexican culture. Whether for families, educational groups, or couple groups, our Blended Activity Tours are designed to offer a little of everything Mexico has to offer. A typical blended tour may include a visit to an ancient Mayan ruin, ocean sailing, Oaxacan cooking class, Barro Negro pottery lesson, shopping excursions, Mescal demonstration, Oaxacan mud bath, Spanish classes, and a coffee plantation tour.
Culinary Tours
For more than twenty years, we’ve been designing and leading international gastronomy tours for culinary students, professional chefs, and food enthusiasts. Our tours seek to meet the level of hands-on participation expected by the tour organizer, from passive to rigorous involvement. Our tours usually include broad experiences such as fresh food market excursions, organic coffee finca tours, mescal distilling, chocolate making, hands-on cooking classes, and a range of dining experiences featuring both traditional and modern Mexican cuisine.
Educational Tours
We create tours for college or university students looking to gain a greater insight into their area of interest through immersion. We offer custom tours focusing on areas such as the Spanish language, Mexican history, native Indian art, and modern and ancient architecture. We will custom design an educational tour that exceeds the expectations of the tour organizer/teacher. Our staff has over 60 years combined experience as educators!
Special Interest Tours
